Hi there, I’m Meg.
Mum of 2, member of a neuro-spicy family, which also includes our medium-sized, 33kg (lol) Groodle. I like reading, gardening (yes, I’m absolutely in my 30s), lifting heavy things, and running… sometimes.
Apparently, when I was 4 I said I wanted to be a photographer and even had a camera — but I must’ve forgotten, because I spent five years working in childcare while putting myself through uni for a media and communications degree, before heading off into the public service.
It was there I realised I’m creative at heart, struggle to sit still, a little weird, and way not cut out for a 9–5 desk job. I pulled my kiddo out of daycare, got serious about photography, and over the years I’ve learned not just how to take a photo, but how to read people — especially kids — and make them feel happy and special. Then I click the camera.
And I’m not gonna lie: I owe my entire business to my husband saying, “Go get this,” and to every single person who chooses to book with me.
“Meg has a magic, a magic to capture the moment and the love and emotion you share as a family.
This is our second time working with her and I feel like she’s part of our family.”
